Caring Dads is a trademarked and copyrighted intervention program that is run exclusively by accredited Caring Dads Facilitators, in good standing, and according to contractually mandated guidelines.

Caring Dads is a trademarked and copyrighted intervention program that is run exclusively by accredited and licensed Caring Dads Facilitators. Caring DadsTM is a registered trademark of Katreena Scott in Canada. Trademark pertains to program manuals and workbooks designed for fathers and the provision of counseling services to fathers in the field of parenting skills, the provision of training and education to social service professionals in the field of parenting skills for fathers, and the operation of a website with information on counseling services provided to fathers in the area of parenting skills.

Reproduction or storage of materials in the Manual & Workbook, or those retrieved from the Caring Dads website (www.caringdads.org) are subject to Canadian (Copyright Act R.S.C., 1985, c. In order to offer Caring Dads programming at a minimum, your Lead Facilitator is required be a certified Caring Dads Facilitator.  Certified means, trained by a certified Caring Dads Trainer.

Facilitators require a license to deliver the program to clients, using best practices and the latest version of program materials, which are available online via the Caring Dads Pro-Portal. Paying annual license fees provides access to the Pro-Portal.

New Facilitator’s first year license fee is included in their training fee. After the first year, Facilitators will require a paid license, available through their employer’s annual licensing renewal process.

Facilitators are required to deliver Caring Dads programming according to the philosophies and program standards of the Caring Dads trademarked program.

Facilitator Training & Accreditation Agreement

Becoming an Accredited Caring Dads Facilitator is a two step process. Step one is to attend a Caring Dads Facilitator Training. Step two is to participate in our 4 Clinical Consultaion sessions while running your first Caring Dads group. Once you complete the 4 Clinical Consultations you will receive your “Accredited Caring Dads Facilitator Certificate”. Registering as a Caring Dads Provider

Email Sarah (info@caringdads.org) to be listed as a Caring Dads Provider. You will be listed on our website as an Approved Caring Dads Provider as well as receive an “approved provider seal” that you can add to your website.
